Capacity Planning
Design a service that turns a text prompt into an image. A user submits a prompt plus parameters: the image size, the number of denoising steps, a random seed, and how many images to make. The user gets back one or more generated images.
The model already exists and is trained. The service serves it. In scope are submitting a request, showing progress while the image forms, storing and delivering the finished images, and checking the prompt and the output for safety. Training and fine-tuning the model, a language model that rewrites prompts before generation, and video generation are out of scope. The last two come back as variants.
What a strong answer sounds like
State the decision, connect it to a requirement, and name the tradeoff. Keep the design focused on the workload in the prompt.
